APO Collegiate Congress Solicitation Letter

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Our beloved Alpha Phi Omega is ushering the 85th year of leadership, friendship and service. Peculiar to many on how we became brothers and sisters; without a regard to age, religion or culture. The mere knowledge of the same affiliation will automatically unfold a complete stranger's left-hand to receive another and instantly becomes an ally. A bond like no other that started from the hills of Lafayette College that spread across the United States and into the seas of the pacific to reach the Philippines. With this in mind it is our duty to protect the continuity of this heritage.

The constant flow of new members into an organization is essential for its growth. APO Philippines recognizes the need to support its collegiate chapters as the Nationwide Recruitment Campaign was presented. It offered practical ways in recruitment of new members, and also commissioned the production of an APO Recruitment Video to attract more students into joining our ranks. The chapters that are implementing the APO Pledge Programhave significantly increased due to the availability of printed copies of APP manuals distributed throughout the country and the training of about 400 brothers and sisters certified to conduct APP seminars within their geographic reach.

In order to preserve these positive results, a COLLEGIATE CONGRESS will be held to further strengthen collegiate chapters, as well as to empower its members to their full leadership potential. It will also be an opportunity for chapter leaders to share successful strategies in chapter management and voice out concerns that are often encountered in the modern day-to-day fraternity and sorority campus life.

In behalf of all collegiate members that will benefit from this worthy endeavor, we humbly ask for your support. Attached is a copy of the sponsorship packages.

We are hoping for your favorable response. Thank you very much. May we always be!

Sincerely yours,

O.J. Lopez

Vice-President for Fraternity
